You can tell a lot about a person by the things they’re attracted to. One of the techniques authors often use in character development is creating a pin board for their character, so they can better understand the mind and personality of their character. The beauty of a pin board is that you can connect with the character in a single glance.
I browsed Pinterest and put together a pin board with the random things that caught my eye. So who I am? 🙂 What personality traits do you see based on my board?

Hmmm… There would be a lot of nature/scenic pics. Things that are green. Antiques and old books.
Then there would also be a lot of ocean life and pictures of the water, boats and lighthouses. And that would be very blue.

I love the woods and forests, I suppose, lol. Even mountains and hills. Add a sunset and I’m a happy girl (sunrise just means the picture was taken too early 😉 )

I actually really like trees and hills and mountains too. But I’m not a hiker. 😉 I just want to sit and stare…and photograph. But if you show me a tree or a dress decked out in ruffles…I’m afraid I’m going to the ruffles.

I like things organized & clean! I function better if everything is done. Then my mind is at ease. I love books with beautiful covers and no bent edges. My books look brand new when I finish them and I keep them all. Can u tell I’m OCD? (I wish I wasn’t) My favorite color is a deep purple and has been for more years than I can remember.
