The coloring book is reinvented in a brand new journal format.
Wherever you’re off to, take this cheeky and charming coloring journal with you. Embellish whimsical, full-page patterns, cityscapes and street scenes, feminine silhouettes, and stylish essentials with your own style. Like a high-end journal, this sleek package has an elastic closure and a satin ribbon marker so you can dip in and dip out. With nothing more than some colored pencils, you’ll be on your way to a stress-free, Parisian-chic day.
There’s something for everyone in Paris Street Style! The book is geared more toward women with it’s feminine fashion throughout the book. While it’s a fun addition to my coloring book collection, not all pages were winners for me. As with coloring books, I want to break down what you can expect to find so you can determine if you’re ready to buy a copy.
The Basics: The book is much shorter than the average coloring book. It comes in a fun square shape with a bookmark and elastic band for closure.
Pages are NOT perforated.
Images are printed on both sides of thick paper.
Images: You’ll find a variety of things to color here.
The patterns are fun and whimsical. My personal favorites are the Paris street scenes. You’ll also find product pages. Entire pages dedicate to one product: perfume, hats, purses, dresses, shoes, etc. There are some full-bodied models and also from models from behind where their hair becomes the focal point.
One of the weirdest things found in the book was a page on ladies underwear. And another page with only a single pair of panties. These additions seem a little strange to me. But even weirder is the inclusion of a 7-page index. 7 pages of mini photos are like a waste of space.
Some of the images came across as frumpy and uninteresting for me. Others were beautifully feminine or charmingly Parisian. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars.
